Power Machines to deliver steam turbines to Iranian power plant

MOSCOW, Jul 31 (PRIME) -- Power engineering firm Power Machines has won a tender of Technopromexport, part of state industrial corporation Rostec, for exports of four steam turbines to the Sirik thermal power plant, with a 171.7 million euro bid in the tender with a starting price of 203.4 million euros, as seen by PRIME in the procurement materials on Tuesday.

Under the 2016 agreement with Iran’s Thermal Power Plants Holding Company, Russia will provide a 1.2 billion euro financing to the 1.4 gigawatt project. Technopromexport is to finish construction in 2021.
